This is a tough blog. I'll start with the story. It was Friday night, at work with mommy. Old friends of ours came in and they brought the new addition to their family. I knew the owner and Tizzy, we played in the past. That night, I got to meet Tizzy's son Mac. Everything was going good. They got bath and then got to play. I even enjoyed the playing.
Me watching Tizzy and Mac. Well a little bit after that picture, we had a problem. Tizzy my old friend decided to come after me. Then her son Mac joined in. My mommy freaked and tried to get them off of me. It was the scariest night I ever been though. They are strong dogs. It took a lot for my mother to get them off of me. She finally did and their grandparents came to pick them up.
After the attack, mommy brought me to the vet. She notice this bite when we were at the shop. So she wanted me check over by a doctor. At the vet, before being seen, mommy found more and then more bites. They were bad. Mommy said I was being so strong, and mommy was freaking out. They took me over night and sent mommy home. She said she couldn't sleep and I believe her. Once I was done with surgery, they called mommy and she speed to bring me home. That morning mommy brought me a blanket to lay on in the car. I was drowsy from medication so the ride I barely remember.
At home mommy took some pictures. I got two drains and stitches. The smaller bites the vet said would heal on their own. I remember eating and mommy gave me my medication. We slept together all day. Mommy wouldn't leave my side. It made me feel better having her with me.
By Saturday I was feeling better. I love laying on my back and it's very comfortable due to the drains and stitches being in awkward spots. I will probably be going to the vet tomorrow to get the drains removed. Then in about ten days get the stitches removed. Mommy said she never wants to leave my side. She's worried to let me play with anyone anymore. Even little dogs aren't allowed anymore. She might be over reacting but she loves me and wants me safe. A nightmare come true. Scary night.
