My Last Blog

This is my last blog. 

It hurts to write this but it has to be done. Saying goodbye is never easy. I will miss Goose and Gypsy.

I will miss many others too. But the ending is here. My lungs hurt. It is a struggle to breathe. The pain has been too long. I held on as long as I could. But I needed peace. I need to feel no more pain. 

My mama will cry, more than she has the days to lead up to this day. It will be hard. But she must continue on. Along with all the rest of you. 

I ask for you all to remember the good days. Don’t take life for granted. It’s a beautiful place. 

Please remember me, as the fabulous, gorgeous, diva, princess, I always was. I hope my memories bring a smile to your face.

 

Nor’easter & Cuddles

It’s a nor’easter but it doesn’t seem that bad.

Spending some time bonding.

Glad to be home today.

These old bones don’t handle the snow the same way these days. 

Just glad to be around one more day.

Grateful

It’s a beautiful day to sit outside in the sun.

It’s a little hard to go for walks but I am grateful to enjoy moments like this.

Our road trip to visit family for Easter.

I love this little human. Always a pleasure to cuddle up with Willow. 

I’m just glad I was able to made it to another holiday and celebrate with family.

Winter Wonderland

What a snow storm we got.

It may be spring but it looks like a winter wonderland.

They say we got about 30 inches. It’s beautiful. 

 

Spring Blizzard

Remember it’s spring.

Today we had a real snow day. A beautiful blizzard.  It’s been snowing all day long. The weather says 20 inches but it feels like it much more. 

This old girl loves the snow but enjoys being inside in bed these days. 

Gotta love New England.

Today is Goose’s 8th birthday.

We had to celebrate his day with each other. 

We even had our cousins over to celebrate Goose’s birthday.

Happy 13th Birthday to Me

Today is my 13th birthday and we started it off with a morning walk to one of my favorite parks. 

I took the lead because it’s my day. 

I still love the snow.

Being old makes it a little hard to enjoy what I use to love. But at least a small birthday walk was nice. 

Being 13 means extra napping.

The night ended with it snowing. It’s a little birthday gift for the old girl.
