Brush me, Please!

Being a poodle means you will be brushed. (Unless your family likes the shave down look.) My family seems to love me with long curls. Now for most dogs this would be a nightmare getting all of those knots tugged at every other night. Not for me. I love being brushed out and groomed. This is one of my favorite times, bonding with my mommy. While she thinks this is work, I am thinking "Yay, love me!"

Snow Storm

Last week snowed and then snowed some more. We had alot of snow. At least alot compared to the snow I have ever seen. I have decided snow is tons of fun, specially for running.

 Snow day!

Walks & Weight

This week was just an ordinary week. I went to the park for my daily walks. Weather has been chilly so the walks were cut short.

Today, my sister, Pebbles and I were brought to be weighed. Pebbles has been on a diet ever since last summer. Also, my mother is always curious about my weight and size. The vet is such a nice place. The staff always give out treats. So after tonight I have found out after one year, plus a week, I now weigh 36.3 lbs. I stand about 22 inches tall at the shoulder. I hope I am at the right size for my age. I been told I have more growing to do. I should fill out by the end of this year.

My weight: 36.3 lbs
I was such a good girl staying on the scale.

Parti like a Poodle

Today is Monday, January 9, 2012, my 1st birthday. I was born this day last year. My family is very excited to celebrate this day. I was given a nice bath right before going to a dog park. Of course I got a little dirty and had to put my feet in the ocean. It's my birthday, I should be able to have the type of fun I enjoy, right? Then a few hours later I had a birthday party! My family and friends showed up. There was special cake made doggie friendly. Plenty of treats for all of us. We played the whole night. I'm so happy I have loved ones. If they do something this special for me I can't wait to see what will happen over the years.

This is a picture of my sister Pebbles with me.

One of our good friends, Peter, came to the party.

 My special doggie cake.

This was so good. Everyone loved it.
